We then board the 0750 Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire service 68 to Blackpool (Foxhall Square), arriving there at 0914 on Sunday morning.
1050 on Sunday evening.... Does Cleveleys have an early nightfall in January!!!
We walk the 6 minutes (0.3 miles) to Police Headquarters and get the 12:46 Blackpool Transport service 18 to Blackpool Treasure Beach (Kenilwoth Gardens), arriving at 13:12 Sunday afternoon.
Leaving the tram terminus, we take the four minute walk to Clifton Drive North and board the 1554 Blackpool Transport service 11 to Lytham (Warton Street) that arrives there at 1618 on Sunday afternoon.
There are two stops on Warton Street: St John's Street and Grosvenor Street, but none of these appear to be served by the 11? At 1618 there is a bus at Lytham Hospital. Is this where we are?
We call it a day and, in the morning, head out on the 08:40 Stagecoach in Cumbria & North Lancashire route 755 bus service to Milnthorpe (A6), arriving there at 09:17 on Monday morning.
You shouldn't wait for more than two hours after the first available service (to any destination) has left, after allowing for the minimum interchange time.
- Night services in the UK can be quite limited, so when the previous move arrives at its destination after 2300 you are allowed to wait until 0500 the next day if you wish.
We then board the 10:38 Woof's of Sedbergh route W1 bus service to Sedbergh (The Dalesman), arriving there at 10:56 on Monday morning.
Point taken. I missed an ignored post. With the best hope in the world, I cannot see that bus service ever making a diversion as far south as Warrington Bank Quay railway station....![]()
