We take the three minutes walk to the bus stop outside Asda on Crowhurst Road and board the 1216 Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company service 24 to Moulsecoomb (opp Coldean Lane on Lewes Road) that arrives there at 1225 on Tuesday afternoon.

Then cross the road (how I don't know!) and get the 12:30 Brighton and Hove service 25 to Falmer (Sports Centre), arriving at 12:38 Tuesday afternoon.

Walk the 0.5 miles (10 minutes) to the Marine Gate and get the 13:48 Brighton and Hove service Coaster 12A to Friston (Gayles Farm), arriving at 14:48 Tuesday afternoon.

Using the overnight BoJ rule, we then board the 0815 National Express service 333 to Blackpool (Central Coach Station), arriving there at 1930 on Wednesday evening.

We take the five minute walk to the By Sands bus stop on the Promenade and board the 1939 Blackpool Transport service 11 to Lytham Hospital (Warton Street elevation) that arrives there at 2022 on Wednesday evening.

We go to the stop at Warton Street by Lytham Hospital, Lytham and take Blackpool Transport 7 Service at 2015 as far as Squires Gate Lane by Blackpool Airport where we arrive at 20:38 on Wednesday evening.

we take the 0.3 mile/ 5 min walk to Freeport, London Street (Blackpool Tramway) from where we board the 22:30 Blackpool Tramway service to the stop at Blackpool, North Pier (Blackpool Tramway) where we arrive at 23:08 on Wednesday evening.

Not much to see at this time of night so we next board the 2322 Blackpool Tramway service to Starr Gate tram stop that arrives there at 2339 on Wednesday evening

We head to the nearby Squire's Gate railway station to see if there's any trains back towards Preston, but find a long term replacement bus service is in operation at nights. At 00:03 a Northern Trains replacement bus service arrives. Unfortunately, it's heading into Blackpool but we take it anyway up to Blackpool South Railway Station, arriving at 00:11 on Thursday morning.

We leave the station and walk around the corner to the bus stop at Lytham Road, Royal Oak (o/s) from where we take Blackpool Transport service 11 at 00:38 as far as Blackpool, Promenade by Central Pier where we arrive at 00:43 on Thursday morning.

We walk back to New Bonny Street (0.3 miles) and catch the 00:54 Blackpool Transport number 7 service (the last such service of the day) and take it for a short four minute ride past the tower up to Blackpool Clifton Street, arriving at 00:58 on Thursday morning.

Having noted the new overnight rule, we take the three minute walk to the bus stop on Corporation Street and board the 0617 Stagecoach Merseyside and South Lancashire service 61 to Lea (Tudor Avenue) that arrives there at 0703 on Thursday morning.

We then board the 0748 Stagecoach in Lancashire service 61 to Kirkham & Wesham Station, arriving there at 0807 on Thursday morning.

Then we enter the station, just missing the 08:08, and decvide to wait for the next train towards Preston. We therefore get the 08:39 Northern service 2E76 to Leyland, arriving at 08:55 Thursday morning.

We walk onto the adjacent Preston Road in time to catch the 09:03 Tyrers Coaches 111 service to Seven Stars. We alight at Seven Stars St Annes School, Leyland; at 09:13 on Thursday morning.
