We then have a desire to travel on London Midland's southern diesel outpost so we catch the 1101 departure and alight at Lidlington where we arrive at 1122 on Saturday morning.

Then with another change in TOC we get the 16:17 Southern service 2C90 to New Cross Gate, arriving at 17:08 Saturday morning.

As we arrive, we see our next train arriving as well, and we get on it waiting for its departure. It is the 18:50 Southern service to 1C90 to London Victoria, arriving at 19:50 Saturday evening.

I'm desperate to know how we ended up in the south again :lol:

Heading to Victoria coach station, we then board the 2030 National Express service 560 to Sheffield (Interchange), arriving there at 0010 in the early hours of Sunday morning.

And I will further oblige, by saying after a 40 minute PNB, we board the 1000 Scottish CityLink service 915 to Broadford, Post Office, arriving at 1635 on Sunday afternoon.

Having just missed the sleeper on Sunday timings, we instead enter the station for a local foray to the Granite City, boarding the 2103 ScotRail service to Aberdeen, arriving at 2313 on Sunday evening.

Exiting the station, we take the four minute walk to St Nicholas Kirk, where we board the 2333 First Aberdeen service 2 to Robert Gordon University (Garthdee Road), arriving there at 2350 on Sunday evening.

Where are you getting this from? On the Stagecoach timetable it says it leaves ARI at 0655 and arrives at Banff at 0902?

To avoid any confusion, we'll take the 1002 Stagecoach North Scotland service 35 to Elgin (Railway Station), arriving there at 1147 on Monday morning.
