We run over to stand 10 just in time to make National Express service 571, leaving at 18:25. The bus heads into Cumbria, and we take it to the humorously named Cockermouth (opp. Main Street Monument), and arrive at 20:35 on Friday evening.

(Note that this bus runs 15 minutes later than its normal times on Fridays!)

Can you just clarify where we're going to? I think you mean Tonypandy, as Pontypandy is the place where Fireman Sam lives!!!

Where in Llantwit? It's a pretty sizeable place.

Sorry, the rail and bus interchange. (I'd wrongly assumed that the "major" referred to the interchange rather than the village  )

Haha no problem!

Rather annoyingly, all of Llantwit Major's bus/rail services on a Sunday all depart roughly the same time in both directions, despite only having a bi-hourly service for the majority of the day, so we enter the railway station and wait for the 1722 Arriva Trains Wales service 2E16 to its terminus of Bridgend, arriving there at 1737 on Sunday afternoon.

Get the 18:02 Great Western Railway service to Reading, arriving at 19:57 Sunday evening.

Sorry to query once again, but where have you found this? The only GWR service I can find, on both the GWR website and Real Time Trains, is an 1823 from Bridgend arriving into Reading at 2031?

I was using Google maps results for 11th Feb, which is a Saturday. I will use that move, editing the timings!
