Brislington is not the most exciting of areas, so we board the 1509 First Bristol service 1 to the more quaint Westbury-on-Trym (Westbury Village), arriving there at 1553 on Sunday afternoon.

Heading down to the bus stop on Pomphrey Hill, we move away from the Bristol suburbs as we board the 1922 First in Bristol, Bath and The West service X49 to Yate (Shopping Centre), arriving there at 1946 on Sunday evening.

Taking the six minute walk to the bus stop at The Tapsters, we then board the 2146 First Bristol service 17 to Keynsham (Ashton Way), arriving there at 2159 on Sunday evening.

Taking the 0.5 mile (10 minute) walk to Keynsham train station we take 2V94 Great Western Railway service at 2231 as far as Bristol Temple Meads where we arrive at 2240 on Sunday evening.

Making use of a service that was only extended to start at Temple Meads last weekend, we then board the 2258 First Bristol service 73 to Bradley Stoke (Newleaze), arriving there at 2354 on Sunday evening.

After the 30 minute wait we are able to take the final First Bristol 73 service at 0024 as far as the terminus at Cribbs Causeway, Bus Station (Stop D) where is arrives at 0032 Monday Morning.

Nothing much is happening at Cribbs Causeway at this hour, so we board the 0040 First Bristol service 76 to Bishopsworth (Library), arriving there at 0140 in the early hours of Monday morning.

We next board the same vehicle on its return journey, the 1657 Arriva Kent service 333, which we take to Chalkwell, opp Coniston Hotel, arriving at 1742 on Monday afternoon.

Being grateful that this particular Asda is 24 hours Monday to Saturday, we are able to stock up on some supplies for our night travels as we board the 0101 Brighton and Hove service N5 to Brighton (Churchill Square), arriving there at 0122 in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
