Harrowside I'm assuming? And I'm assuming the 1916 from Victoria Square in Cleveleys?

We then cross the road to Burlington Road West tram stop, where we board the 2003 Blackpool Tramway service to Central Pier, arriving there at 2013 on Sunday evening.

To make one omission is bad enough, but for me to compound matters even further by making a second one....all in the same posting!!!!!...My posting now reads as it should have done

Sadly there are no more northbound trams now, and I believe all of the buses have finished for the day, so we call it a night before boarding the 0546 Blackpool Transport service 11 to Blackpool (Sands), arriving there at 0605 on Monday morning.

I think we need to clarify the destination here.
Exchange Quay Metrolink is in the Salford Docks area, west of the city centre on the Eccles line.
According to Traveline, the 1214 tram from Rochdale terminates at Exchange Square at 1303, which is in Manchester City Centre.

Apart from the Quay / Square, the journey and its times are valid, so I propose we continue from the city centre Exchange Square Metrolink stop.

We are currently in the situation where no tram services whatsoever now pass through the works at St Peter's Square which will have a nine-week window of platform completions, final 2CC connection, the removal of the temporary single line Mosley Street line section and its reinstatement to the normal double-track section there.

TfGM have a programme of bus connections for the Manchester Metrolink during this nine-week period.

Can I inquire with regards to the Exchange Square temporary terminus, as I know that Manchester Metrolink services from Shaw and Crompton now terminate there, but I was unaware if the actual Rochdale service did the same. Living external to the land of the TfGM empire, I am not as aware of matters as those actually resident there.

Apologies folks, it is Exchange Square. I always get these two mixed up!

As for the terminus at Exchange Square, following on from the severing of the network in the city centre, all services from Rochdale now go to Exchange Square, the additional services from Shaw now go to Piccadilly (Monday to Saturdays only) and all services to Ashton now go to/from Bury. Although the network west of Cornbrook remains open the Eccles Line is closed anyway due to engineering works.

Have a look at the latest network map.

Rail Replacement Buses and Metrolink track closures are certainly the banes of our lives!

We take the six-minute walk from Exchange Square Metrolink to the King Street bus stop. Next we catch the 1328 First Manchester service V2 via the Guided Busway to Atherton, Bag Lane / Market St arriving at 1417 Monday afternoon.

Last time we were here, I remember the Summer Timetable was not in operation and he had to double back from Patterdale. As of 4th July we can now travel over the Kirkstone Pass, so .....

We board the 1223 Stagecoach Cumbria service 508 from the Brotherswater Inn to Windermere Railway Station arriving at 1309 Tuesday afternoon.

We decide, being informed that we are people with no appreciation of sarcasm, to head even deeper into the hinterland in order to do some soul-searching and board the 1507 Stagecoach in Cumbria "Coniston Rambler" service 505 to Coniston (Crown Inn) that arrives there at 1518 on Tuesday afternoon.
