We next board the 2210 First in Hampshire service 2 to Paulsgrove ( Shops bus stop on Alloway Avenue) that arrives there at 2257 on Friday evening.

From the stop at Paulsgrove, Allaway Avenue Shops (W-bound) we take First in Hampshire service 3 at 2318 as far as Fareham, Bus Station (Stop B) where we arrive at 2338 on Friday evening.

We next board the 2355 National Express Coach service 206 to Poole (Selsdown Coach Station) that arrives there at 0135 on Saturday morning.

Poole bus station is just around the corner from the coach station. Here we board Morebus night service N2 departing at 0200 to Boscombe, Christchurch Road (at Ashley Rd) arriving at 0234 Saturday morning.

We then board the 0248 Morebus service N2 to Branksome (Railway Station), arriving there at 0309 in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Being aware of the 10 minute minimum connection time that applies at this station, we decide to board the 1626 Northern service to Cononley that arrives there at 1700 on Saturday afternoon.

We come out of the train station to the stop at Post Office, Cononley and take 1718 North Yorkshire County Council 78a Service as far as Eastburn, Airedale Hospital, Stop C where we arrive at 1734 on Saturday evening.

We take the seven minute walk to the bus stop on Skipton Road and board the 1751 Keighley and District service 66 to Skipton bus station that arrives there at 1813 on Saturday evening.

We next take First Leeds x84 service at 18:45 as far as Leeds City Centre, The Headrow, stop H4 where we arrive at 20:15 on Saturday evening.

We take the 6 minute (0.3 mile) walk to Garforth Train Station and are just in time to take 2T97 2342 Northern Service as far as Leeds Train Station where we arrive at 2355 on Saturday evening.

We then board the 0015 First TransPennine Express service 1E96 to York, arriving there at 0041 in the early hours of Sunday morning.

We seem to be plagued by rail replacement buses

However, the 0812 Northern departure seems to be 'normal', so we take it to Burnley Manchester Road, arriving at 1000 Sunday morning

There are a lot of rail.replacement buses interrupting the 24 hour TPE service between Leeds and Manchester.

We then board the 1103 Northern service 1B16 to Blackpool North, arriving there at 1209 on Sunday afternoon. I've just come back from Blackpool and would love to go back once again!

We leave the station and walk 7 minutes (0.4 mile) to the North Pier tram stop. We catch the 1227 Blackpool Tram to Fleetwood Ferry arriving at 1308 Sunday afternoon.

We walk for 3 minutes to the bus stop on Lytham Road at Haig Road. We board a Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancs service 68 at 1432 to St Anne's Square arriving at 1455 Sunday afternoon.

We next board the 1620 Blackpool Transport service 11 to Stony Hill (outside the Thursby Home) that arrives there at 1719 on Sunday afternoon.

It is indeed Pilling Avenue, my mistake.

I have say I've struggled to find Stony Hill. As a regular visitor to Blackpool it's not an area I recognise!

I think I've found it somewhere near St Annes again? If so, we then board the 1805 Blackpool Transport service 7 to Cleveleys (Bus Station), arriving there at 1852 on Sunday evening.
