Remember we are using the timetable that should be running, not the actual service if it's been amended for engineering, etc. So the sleeper would have been valid

Rules
- The playing area includes only mainland Great Britain. This includes any landmass connected to Great Britain by bridge or tunnel (excluding the Channel Tunnel).
Can I intercede here and mention to all concerned about the recent visit to the Isle of Mull by ferry, as I am in receipt of a PM from a forum member who quotes the rule shown above and states states that whilst the Isle of Skye, now connected by a bridge, is valid for use on this quiz, the Isle of Mull most certainly remains a true unconnected island.
I most certainly do not wish that any related postings be struck through, but for the current matter to serve as a reminder that the quiz rules be read and adhered to in future.

So in other words Paul are you saying that we must go back to Oban when we caught the West Coast Motor service?
We await 0S00, the 0515 Wightlink service to Ryde Pier Head, arriving there 22 minutes later at 0537 this Monday morning. Welcome to the Isle of Wight.
Just to clarify, domestic ferries are fine... Isle of Wight is fine... the 'This includes any landmass connected to Great Britain by bridge or tunnel (excluding the Channel Tunnel).' has been adopted...

Very frustratingly, a Scottish Citylink coach to Glasgow has just left from the nearby post office. Instead, we don't really have much option other than to board the 1304 Abellio ScotRail service 1Y25 to Connel Ferry, arriving there at 1330 on Wednesday afternoon.
Thankfully, Connel Ferry no longer has an actual ferry to cause us further confusion! We're a few minutes walk from the post office, where we can catch another West Coast Motors service, this time the number 5 bus, which arrives at 13:40. We take it to its terminus at Barcaldine, arriving at 14:01 on Wednesday afternoon.
It looks like the only onward transport is on the Oban and District service 408 at 0815. We take this to Oban, Stance 5 Station Road, where we arrive at 0850 Thursday morning
I didn't take us to Edinburgh to end up in the middle of bloody nowhere![]()

I miss the Highlands already, so I drag us to Platform 3 to board the 12:09 Scotrail service to Inverness, arriving at 15:23 on Thursday afternoon.![]()
