Just on the Heathrow PODs there is no timetable they run 'on demand' only. Probably best, for future reference to avoid them to keep things simple (and avoid arguments about how long the journey takes, how long you have to wait, how long the walk at either end is, can you travel straight back or is it the same service and so on).

We next board the 1255 Carousel service A40 to Uxbridge, Belmont Road Stop D, arriving at 1337 on Friday afternoon.

Taking the one minute walk to the bus stop on Bakers Road, we board the 1350 London Bus service 427 to Acton (High Street) that arrives there at 1446 on Friday afternoon.

Well, I did at least nominate the correct bus service number in that instance. Not being blessed with country-wide knowledge of such updates of operator, I can only go on what my information search reveals on the internet. There must be a vast number of bus operators in the area covered by this game and it is rather somewhat unfair that all current matters of operator run services are expected to be known by all contestants.

You may recall the matter of South Lancs Travel arising on this thread not so very long ago and "the generic Diamond Bus name" was similarly used as a correction on a posting, which in itself was wrong as the successor company was actually Diamond Bus North West which is a separate trading entity.

Both Wikipedia and London Bus Routes specify the operator of every single TfL contracted bus route in London. It even says on the timetable you use, so I can't see how it can be missed.

No, in that instance I stated it was indeed Diamond North West. It's actually Diamond Bus North West Ltd, but I missed out the 'Ltd'. However, I did not use the generic Diamond Bus name in that particular case.

Since you made this posting some time ago and further to my bringing this matter to the attention of the company, the company who designed that webpage have now had to completely renew it with a brand new webpage that states the correct company name information now.

As I said on the other matter, both you on this and I on yesterday's posting can only go on what is actually said on a website.
