Despite the early hour, we have no more transport options, which leaves us stuck in the beauty of the Lake District on a lovely Summer's evening... what a shame

So, we make the most of our time here and go for a walk before checking into the highly rated Borrowdale hotel, for what will be the best nights sleep we've had in quite some time! The sparse bus timetable even allows for us to have a nice leisurely breakfast at the hotel, before we amble back to the bus stop in time to catch the first bus of the day, which is the 08:56 Stagecoach in Cumbria & North Lancashire service number 77A which takes us back to Keswick, albeit this time the long way around. After a beautiful scenic tour of the Lake District, we arrive back to Keswick Bus Station at 10:17 on this lovely Thursday morning.

We decide to head northwards and board the 1050 Stagecoach in Cumbria and North Lancashire service 554 to Thursby (Village Green) that arrives there at 1144 on Thursday morning.

It's a 500 yard walk from the railway station to Wolverhampton St George Light Rail terminus, where we board the 2300 Midland Metro service to Guns Village, Dudley Street stop. arriving at 2318 Thursday evening.

Not much else in the way of public transport, so we check into the Windsor Castle Inn for what's left of the night.

A few hours later, we drag ourselves out of bed and walk over to Lye Station where we catch the first train of the day, London Midland's 06:00 departure 2C02 to Dorridge. We remain on the train through Birmingham, and alight in Solihull at 06:53 on Friday morning.

Realising we missed our stop, we double back on the 0717 London Midland service to Stourbridge Junction, arriving 0803 on Friday morning.

And we decide to ride on a toy train, and we just miss the 08:05 departure to the town. So we wait for the PPM to come back and we board 2P31, the 08:15 London Midland service from Stourbridge Junction to Stourbridge Town, arriving at 08:18 on Friday Morning.

We take the short four minute walk to the bus station and board the 0835 HansonBus service 318 to Bromsgrove bus station that arrives there at 0921 on Friday morning.

Then, at 09:35 we board the Diamond Buses 149 service from Bromsgrove Bus Station towards Webbs of Wychbold. We alight at the bus stop on Worcester Road, Wychbold, opposite the Wych Way Inn. The time is 10:02 on Friday Morning.

We take the four minute walk to the bus stop opposite to Webbs where we next board the 1009 First in Worcestershire and Herefordshire service 144A to Worcester (Crowngate bus station) that arrives there at 1045 on Friday morning.

We take the short walk around the corner into High St, where we board Stagecoach West service A at 1240, arriving at Benhall, GCHQ entrance at 1259 Friday afternoon.

Let's hope my searching for directions to GCHQ (from an overseas IP address) does not bring this thread to the attention of MI5 or the CIA! Why has my computer just started to do funny things?

Buses are not so frequent in this corner of the world, so we have a cup of tea and wait to join the 1600 departure of Pulham's Coaches' service 855 arriving at Cirencester Market Place at 1632 Friday afternoon.

We then walk across the Market Place to the bus stop outside the church and await Stagecoach West service 51 departing at 1714 towards Swindon but we alight at Cricklade High Street , arriving at 1746 on Friday afternoon.
