We make the five minute walk to the bus stop at the turning circle and board the 1838 Stagecoach in Swindon service 53 to Swindon bus station that arrives there at 1919 on Friday evening

We follow Christopher Boone's steps to the station, boarding the 19:41 First Great Western service to Swansea, decamping at Neath at 21:36 on Friday evening.

We then board the 2152 Arriva Trains Wales service to Milford Haven where we arrive at 0016 on Saturday morning.

There aren't many buses in this quiet English town, but we arrive just in time to walk a few stops along where the National Express number 402 coach from London arrives at 20:20 to take us to Frome Market Place, at 21:40 on Friday Evening.

When we arrive, we look at our phones to find that we're just a bit too far away to walk to the rail station.

There are no more trains to Milford Haven for the remainder of the day, so we call it a night before boarding 1W52, the 0555 Arriva Trains Wales service to Pontyclun, arriving there at 0829 on Saturday morning.

We then head on over to Maesteg bus station, where we board the 1000 First Cymru service X70 to Leckwith (Jubilee Park), arriving there at 1100 on Saturday morning.

Being big fans of Gavin & Stacy, we let the next number 95 bus go past and decide instead to catch the 11:20 number 95A service operated by Cardiff Bus, riding it all the way to Barry Island, where we arrive at 12:15 on Saturday afternoon.

We then board the 1247 Cardiff Bus service 95 to Cathays (Whitchurch Road/Gladstone School), arriving there at 1406 on Saturday afternoon.

We enjoy a bit of time off in Cathays, then board the 15:09 Cardiff Bus number 86 service, and take it out to Lisvane & Thornhill Rail Station, where we arrive at 15:37 on Saturday Afternoon.

We then transfer back onto the bus network, this time boarding Stagecoach in South Wales service C, leaving Caerphilly Interchange at 16:00. We alight at Bowl's Inn at 16:10 on Saturday afternoon.

We then board the 1705 Stagecoach in South Wales service B to University Hospital of Wales, arriving there at 1742 on Saturday afternoon.

We walk through the hospital site to the bus stop opposite the car park and board the 18:05 Newport Transport service number X30, and take it through to Market Square, Newport, where we arrive at 18:25 on Saturday evening.

Taking the short walk to the railway station, we then board 2C89, the 1915 First Great Western service to Yatton, arriving there at 2008 on Saturday evening.

We find we've just missed a W1 bus, and decide to await the next one for a wee trip to Weston Super Mare. The First West of England W1 bus pulls up at 20:40, and we stay with it until the end of its journey in Weston Super Mare (Marine Parade) at 21:07 on Saturday evening.

If anybody is wondering what happened earlier today. I did make a post at 18:35 which took us to Marlborough, only to find I had been beaten by a minute and we were now at Neath. I quickly changed my post to take us to Milford Haven. The Marlborough move was only up for seconds before it was edited.

We have just enough time for quick bag of chips before returning to the First West of England W1 service (as it's the only one running now) departing at 2125 and we travel to the terminus of Bristol Bus Station arriving there at 2231 on Saturday evening.

That was the last 41 bus of the day, and Wessex's 501 doesn't operate on a Sunday, so we call it a night before boarding the 0752 First Bristol service 41 to Henbury (Crow Lane), arriving there at 0810 on Sunday morning.

A sunny early Sunday morning is ideally suited to a further omnibus ride on this service, so we next board the 0838 First in Bristol, Bath and the West service 41 to Stoke Bishop (Rylestone Grove) that arrives there at 0909 on Sunday morning.

We decide to visit the retail mecca of Cribbs Causeway and so board the 0933 First Bristol service 41 arriving at Cribbs Causeway Bus Station at 1005 on Sunday morning.

Not only beaten but confused.........My last journey arrived at 0909, so you were in good order to make that last amendment to the time of your last posting.

However, as you are off shopping, there most probably is a late opening time on a Sunday there......

After wandering around in vain waiting for the larger shops to open we take the First in Bristol Bath and the West X7 service at 1015 to Chepstow Bus station, arriving at 1039 Sunday morning

We leave bnsf734 to go shopping here and we then board the 1037 First in Bristol, Bath and the West service 1 to Broomhill (or is it Broom Hill) (Whitmore Avenue) that arrives there at 1147 on Sunday morning.
