We then walk to the bus stop on Rassbottom Street/Market Street and catch the Firstbus service 408 departing at 0806 and alight at Shaw and Crompton Tram Stop where we arrive at 0906 on Wednesday morning.

This is a most useful stop as we can access the last opened section of the Manchester Metrolink at this stop, so we next board the 1016 Manchester Metrolink service to Peel Hall Metrolink stop that arrives there at 1044 on Wednesday morning.

Exploring a different part of Manchester that I don't think we've been to before, we then board the 1102 Stagecoach Manchester service 369 to Edgeley (Cheadle Old Road), arriving there at 1125 on Wednesday morning.

We cross the road to the bus stop outside the Buddhist complex where we board the 1142 Stagecoach Manchester service to Broomwood (Aimson Road East) that arrives there at 1211 on Wednesday afternoon.

We then take the Go Goodwins service 267 departing at 1219 and alight at the recently refurbished terminus of Altrincham Interchange where we arrive at 1230 on Wednesday afternoon.

We have plenty of time to make the quick walk to Victoria Street for Market Tram Stop where we board the 18:41 Blackpool Tramway service to Burlington Road West Tram Stop arriving there at 19:33 Wednesday Evening
