What appears to have occurred is that a posting was used to contravene the rules about only using the normal timetable when a timetable covering engineering works was in effect. We have DanTrainMan185 to thank for being "eagle-eyed" and bringing the matter to the attention of the contestants.

We next board the 1711 Plymouth Citybus service 21 to Plymouth (Royal Parade) that arrives there at 1744 on Sunday afternoon.

We then board the 1845 First in Devon, Cornwall and Mid-Somerset service 86 to Tavistock (Bus Station), arriving there at 1934 on Sunday evening.

Amazed at this selection of Sunday bus services we then take Plymouth Citybus service 42B departing at 2038 and alight at the terminus of Tamerton Foliot Cunningham Road where we arrive at 2052 on Sunday evening.

There are no more buses from Tamerton Foliot now, with the exception of the returning 2055 service but we arrived at 2052 so don't think it's permitted. We therefore call it a day before waking up and boarding the 0551 Plymouth Citybus service 42B to Plymouth (Royal Parade), arriving there at 0627 on Monday morning.

We then walk to stop A8 and board the 0730 First in Devon and Cornwall service 93 and alight at Kingsbridge Quay where we arrive at 0836 on Monday morning.

We then board the returning Tally Ho! Coaches service 606 at 0930 and return to Kingsbridge Bus Station where we arrive at 0955 on Monday morning.

There is a nice connection in Yealmpton on to the Tally Ho! Coaches service 94 departing at 1115 which we catch to Brixton Post Office where we arrive at 1218 on Monday morning after a circular journey via Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers.

We have time for a look around Dartmouth and return to the Pontoon stop to catch the Stagecoach South West service X64 which departs at 1655 and alight at Totnes Railway Station arriving at 1735 on Monday afternoon.

Due to the limited service, we have to entertain ourselves at Moorsholm, before boarding the 1806 Arriva Northeast X93 to Whitby, Bus Station where we arrive at 1840 on Tuesday evening.

We then take the short walk to Whitby Railway Station, from where we take the 1919 Northern Rail departure to Middlesborough where we arrive at 2044 on Tuesday evening.

As the local buses appear to have already given up for the night, we rejoin the train which forms the 2243 Northern service as far as Middlesbrough, where we alight at 2308 on Tuesday evening.
