No more services run from Driffield for the rest of the day now, so we call it a night before waking up fresh, where we board 2W00, the 0620 Northern service to Bridlington, arriving there at 0634 on Saturday morning.

This is a potentially dodgy move and may need clarifying....

We the board the 0923 Shoreline Suncruisers service 555 to Scarborough (Railway Station), arriving there at 0940 on Saturday morning.

Having checked the timetable the previous move looks good to me.

We continue our journey by boarding 1A85 the 0950 Scarborough - York First TPE train service and alight at Malton arriving at 1012 on Saturday morning.

Can't see anything dodgy about it. Killerby Lane isn't really in Lebberston but both arrival and departure buses stop there

We take the 0950 TPE service to Malton, arriving at 1012 Saturday morning

We have an hour to wait before another First Huddersfield and Calderdale 183 bus takes us to the Star Hotel (Marsden I presume - the timetable is singularly vague) leaving at 2207 and arriving at 2216 Saturday evening

That was the last bus of the day, so we call it a night before boarding the 1047 First in Manchester service 184 to Lees (County End), arriving there at 1135 on Sunday morning.

Taking the six minute walk to Holt Town Metrolink station, we then decide on a cross-city journey through Manchester to an area I don't think we've visited before, just to mix things up a bit and to have a change (although please do correct me if I'm wrong). We board the 1412 Metrolink service to the fantastic development that is MediaCityUK, arriving there at 1439 on Sunday afternoon.

Walking around the corner to the Crossley Road bus stop on Burnage Lane, we have time to grab a few snacks before boarding the 1623 Stagecoach Manchester service 169 to Chorlton (Southern Cemetery Bus Station), arriving there at 1643 on Sunday afternoon.

With Moss Side not being one of most glamorous parts of Manchester, we move on fairly swiftly, and, by taking the 0.4 mile walk to the Claremont Road bus stop on Princess Street, we next board the 1718 Stagecoach Manchester service 105 to Benchill (Shayfield Drive), arriving there at 1745 on Sunday evening.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England

Moss Side to Benchill.....is the equivalent of "out of the Frying Pan...into the Fire"...<(<(<(

Benchill is the spiritual home to all the 29 year-old grandmothers and the area motto is " pregnant at four-een"

Shayfield Drive is in an area bounded by the M56 where it curves around to take its onward route to J4 and we decide to take our very lives in our hands and wait to board the 1845 Stagecoach Manchester service 105 to Wythenshawe (The Happy Man PH on Portway) that arrives there at 1857 on Sunday evening.
