All the local thoroughbred racehorses and local villagers are now in no need of onward travel at this time of the night, so we book in at a hotel for the night and in the morning, we take the short walk to Market Place where we board the 0735 Stagecoach in Lincolnshire service 53 to Laceby (Church Lane) that arrives there at 0804 on Thursday morning.

Deciding to use a different bus service next, we board the 1120 Stagecoach Grimsby service 8 to Scartho (Pinfold Lane) that arrives there at 1136 on Thursday morning.

Deciding we have had enough of going round in circles, we take Stagecoach service 51 at 1158 and travel to Louth Bus Station, arriving at 1247 Thursday afternoon

Deciding to head towards the coastal hinterland, we next board the 1405 Grayscroft Coaches service 1 to Theddlethorpe St Helen (Rotten Row) that arrives there at 1441 on Thursday afternoon.

We wait for the school bus - Grayscroft's 218 service - at 1524 and travel to Mablethorpe Links Avenue, arriving at 1544 Thursday afternoon

Taking the short walk to the bus stop on Regent Road, we then board the 1633 Brylaine Travel service 96A to Spilsby (Interchange Shelter) that arrives there at 1725 on Thursday afternoon.

We return to Alford Library, with Brylaine's 96a, leaving at 1730 and arriving at 1800 Thursday evening

We find there are no further onward buses today, so make overnight arrangements. Looking at the local newspaper, we note that we are not too far from a settlement with an unusual name and on asking, am told there is a bus service there. After a hearty breakfast of all local produce, we make our way back to the bus stop for the first bus of the day to our intended destination and board the 0800 Brylaine Travel service 96 to Hannah cum Hagnaby (Crawcroft Lane) that arrives there at 0809 on Friday morning.
