Going back from here, we then walk around the corner to Greyfriars Road and board the 1740 Stagecoach in South Wales service 122 to Pontyclun (Cwrt Bethel/Llantrisant Road), arriving there at 1826 on Thursday evening.

I had hoped that by making my posting that took us from Cardiff to the south-coast of England that all the recent matters of query would have been put behind us....but this now seems to have been somewhat of a forlorn hope.

I suppose this latest query will be resolved eventually.

As you try and resolve this one, please remember that the "first available service" rule is designed to avoid, say, waiting 7 hours when there is a half hourly service available, and isn't supposed to punish you for inadvertently overlooking an early morning service.

Similarly the ~0.5 mile walk cut-off is designed primarily to stop excessive walks of perhaps 4 miles from happening. Going back for slight deviations from these rules feels like a waste of everyone's time.

We're in Ringwood. It's not exactly a global metropolis and it's 2.45am to be fair! So I think the use of a 6.42am service is fine. If we were at Clapham Junction or Birmingham New Street for example then I could relate to that!
