It's almost two hours until the next one, departing from outside the station at 1335 and arriving in Hay on Wye Hay Castle at 1435 Tuesday afternoon

We decide to make a tribute to part of a now closed railway line that occasionally appears upon the Closed Stations Journey Quiz by boarding the 1438 Stagecoach in South Wales service 39B to Brecon Interchange (Heol Gouesnou) that arrives there at 1521 on Tuesday afternoon.

We continue at 1705 on NAD's service 80. arriving at Llandovery station at 1745 Tuesday evening

This affords a run on the iconic Heart of Wales rail line, so entering the railway station, we make all the necessary travel conditions that enables us to board the 1940 ATW service to Broome, which enables us to alight there at 2135 on Tuesday evening

Well that was the last train and there's no buses out of Broome until Friday......

So we take the first ATW departure of the day at 0552 and travel to Llandeilo, arriving at 0803 Wednesday morning

I'm sure Llangammarch (Wells) is a delightful place, so it's no great hardship to while away the four hours until the next ATW train at 1507. There appear to be no buses - ever

So we'd better take that bus and travel to Llanwrtyd Wells Belle Vue Hotel arriving at 1258 Wednesday afternoon

Despite strenuous attempts to see which mode of travel deigns to visit this settlement and being thankful that we arrived here on a Wednesday, the next one available of any type is the one chosen, which at least gives us time to take a hearty mid-day meal before boarding the 1513 Roy Brown service 48 to Builth Wells (The Strand) that arrives there at 1536 on Wednesday afternoon.
