A trip up the branch line beckons and we next board the 1151 Chiltern service to Princes Risborough that arrives there at 1210 on Wednesday afternoon.
Are there any bus services here ?
Also the fact that a bus route can survive at a half-hourly frequency even though it takes 3 hours and 40 minutes, I think shows how helpful a railway would be along this route...

Heading northwards, we next board the 1716 EC service to Morpeth that arrives there at 1958 on Wednesday evening
I don't see how that's relevant as you refuse to use bus services from now on anyway?
I had no idea this particular service called at Morpeth.
But to all for future reference, to see bus services from a railway station, type in the station's name on National Rail Enquiries, where all the information is about that particular station. Then click on 'local area maps'. A file opens which shows a map of the area with a list of local bus services either from directly outside that particular railway station or in the vicinity.
Agreed. If so, maybe run it from Bristol and over to Cambridge via Cirencester, Bicester, Bletchley, Bedford, St Neots and Cambridge.
.
That would need a lot of new construction which ain't going to happen. Reopening the existing line is proving difficult enough.
We then take the 06:07 SR service to Prestonpans arriving at 06:25 on Thursday morning.
My response was that we were reduced to shuttling back and forth on the Chiltern Railways main line and having made the decision to go up the branch line to the terminus at Princes Risborough, I had hoped that those contestants who like to use bus travel like your good self would have such an opportunity.

We then board 1C54, the 0828 ScotRail service to Carstairs, arriving there at 1019 on Thursday morning.
Looking for long and unusual journeys, we are rewarded with a most unusual direct service, so we next board the 0736 First ScotRail service to Ayr that arrives there at 1018 on Thursday morning.
I see some difficulty has occurred here as the previous service arrived 1018, which most certainly would preclude the use of a service departing at 0828 on the same day

That's exactly what this game needs, hence my disappointment in you only taking part in train journeys from now on. I, and I'm sure many other regular players on this game agree, would like you to return in all modes of transport soon!
A long onwards journey by rail to a cathedral city now awaits us, so we board the 0827 XC service to Winchester that arrives there at 1224 on Friday afternoon.
