On the sole exception that it is the last bus of the day and to save us waiting until the morning, as we are in an area with extremely limited bus services, we return on the 1824 Chalkwell service 345 to Sittingbourne (Plaza Court), arriving there at 1842 on Thursday evening.

Our only option is to walk the 4 minutes to Kemsley station. Not wishing to return to Sittingbourne for the third time this evening (!!), we board 2D65, SouthEastern's 2030 service to Sheerness-on-Sea, where we alight at 2043 on Thursday.

It's not the best public transport provision in these parts!

Having missed the last bus from Swale Station bus stop by nearly 2 hours, and there being no other bus stops withn the mandatory half mile walk we contemplate where we should head on the train, as we only have a choice of 4 stations that we can get to without changing.
Sittingbourne? Been there already today, and I don't fancy it again!
Sheerness? Been there already today, and I don't fancy it again!
Kemsley? We walked there earlier today, and I don't fancy it again!
Queenborough it is then, for a change of scenery...

So, from Swale station we board 2D69, SouthEastern's 2133 service, and we alight at Queenborough at 2137 on the Thursday.

Good luck whoever picks this up next...

Thankfully there is an integrated corridor that allows us to walk between Hackney Central and Hackney Downs directly, saving us the walk via the street, and we catch the 0622 London Overground service 2D04 to Cheshunt, arriving there at 0649 on Friday morning.

Edit: Hackney Downs not Hackney Wick. I haven't been concentrating!

There is nothing (almost literally, not just in terms of onwards connections) within the walking distance so we have to wait for the 15:24 Greater Anglia service 2C23 which we get one stop to Reedham, arriving at 15:31 Friday afternoon.
