We exit the station to the bus stop next to Mount Vernon Avenue, where we board the 0001 First Glasgow Lanarkshire Connect service 240 to Motherwell (Pollock Street), arriving there at 0032 in the early hours of Sunday morning.

That appears to be it for the remainder of the day, and it doesn't look as if the 240 and 241 serve that section of the route on a Sunday as I'm struggling to find timings, so the following morning we return and take the six minute walk to the station, where we board the 1044 ScotRail service 2Y52 to Slateford, arriving there at 1137 on Sunday morning.

Our next step is to catch the 1450 Borders Buses Service X62 to Edinburgh, North Bridge (Stop NB) arriving there at 1614 on Sunday.

Having spent over a week in Scotland, I think it's definitely time to say farewell, as we enter Haymarket station and board the 2020 TransPennine Express service 1M95 to Manchester Airport, arriving there at 2342 on Sunday evening.

We then board the 07:09 Transport for Wales service to Abergele & Pensarn, arriving there at 08:35 on a Monday.
Here we can't resist boarding one of my favourite buses in the country, the 09:05 National Express service 375, which we take as far as Prestatyn Pontins Holiday Camp, arriving at 09:45 Monday morning.

A somewhat tentative return to the quiz and it appears that the same bus above has no stopover time at Rhes-y-Cae, but continues onwards.
We wait for the next service, the 1410 P & O Lloyd service LT1 to Ysceifiog (St Mary's Church) that arrives there at 1421 on Monday afternoon.

Hold on, the LT1 is the only bus to serve Ysceifiog and it only runs three times a day?
Edit: In fact, a quick check on Google Maps shows the 19 is the other side of the A55 to Ysceifiog

No wonder we've hit a snag here...this has taken me some time to figure out - there's TWO settlements called Ysceifiog in close proximity, both with a St Mary's Church and a bus stop. One is served by the LT1 only, the other by the LT2 AND the 19. Welsh place names strike again
Having worked out where we are, we now realise we're also very stuck. It would appear that we'll have to spend the afternoon in the pub before finding lodgings in the church for the night. We then return to the bus stop in the morning for the 09:41 P & O Lloyd service LT1 to Holywell Hospital (main entrance), arriving at 09:55 Thursday morning.

Correction - no there aren't, Google has misplaced Ysceifiog church near the St Mary's bus stop in Carmel. This is hurting my head!Sorry, completely mis-read your comment!

It gets better, believe it or not. The LT1 only runs on Monday, Thursday and Saturday! So your move is fine but fast forward two days later

Oh dear...Having had a nice break, we now await the 11:45 M & H Coaches service 2 to Ruthin, Smithy, arriving at 12:24 Thursday afternoon.
This bus stop is at the A494/B5429 junction if that helps
