Heading northwards, we next board the 1000 Stagecoach in Lancaster service 41 to Garstang (Park Hill Road) that arrives there at 1042 on Thursday morning.

We then head to possibly one of the biggest and most famous seaside resorts in the country, so we walk around to the Council Offices and board the 1120 Stagecoach in Lancaster service 42 to Blackpool (Talbot Road), arriving there at 1209 on Thursday afternoon.

There's a Northern train at 1311 from Blackpool North that will take us to East Garforth arriving at 1539 on Thursday afternoon

Wishing to explore the hinterland, we walk to the bus stop on Aberford Road where we board the 1556 Arriva Yorkshire service 402 to Thorpe Willoughby (Field Avenue) that arrives there at 1639 on Thursday afternoon.

Wishing to get to Bridlington, but realising we may get diverted, we hop on the 1641 Arrvia 402 service to Selby arriving at Selby, Bus Stn at 1655 Thursday

We next board the 1745 Arriva Yorkshire service 415 to Crockey Hill (Forest Farm stop on Selby Road) that arrives there at 1812 on Thursday afternoon.

We then continue on the 1842 Arriva Yorkshire service 415 to York (Piccadilly), arriving there at 1900 on Thursday evening.

We then take the 19:30 First York service to Poppleton (Lord Nelson) arriving at 19:52 on Thursday evening.

We then board the 2100 Yorkshire Coastliner service 10 to York (Railway Station), arriving there at 2120 on Thursday evening.

After dinner we hope to get an HST in, we see that the 21:53 EC service is so we board that to Newcastle arriving at 22:56 on Thursday evening

At 2321 there is a Yellow line Metro departure from which we alight at 2347 Thursday at the Monkseaton stop thinking we could always spend the night on the Whitley Bay beach if we get stuck

Naught but a long wait stretches before us, so wait we do until it is time to board the 0543 Nexus Metro service to Chichester Metro station that arrives there at 0632 on Friday morning.

We then exit the station and board the 0657 Go North East service 27 to Gateshead Interchange, arriving there at 0752 on Friday morning.

We next take the 0810 Go North East service X66 to Metrocentre interchange that arrives there at 0820 on Friday morning.

Continuing on our travels across Newcastle, we then board the 0817 Stagecoach Newcastle service 6 to Kingston Park (Shopping Centre), arriving there at 0902 on Friday morning.

I was going to head to Newcastle station on the number 8, however it only runs in the mornings and in the evenings, so instead we board the 1042 Stagecoach Newcastle service 7 to West Denton (Shopping Centre), arriving there at 1120 on Friday morning.

We enter the railway station and note that were are in time to take one of the long Northern Rail stopping services and we board the 1323 Northern service to Auchinleck that arrives at 1638 on Friday afternoon

Changing TOC, we next board the 1846 Virgin service to Lancaster that arrives there at 1937 on Friday evening.

We continue southwards along the West Coast Main Line and board 9M61, the 1948 Virgin Trains service to Wigan North Western, arriving there at 2018 on Friday evening.

We then take the 20:59 TPE service to Manchester Airport arriving at 21:48 on Friday evening.

We then board 1N76, the 2229 First TransPennine Express service to Blackpool North, arriving there at 0002 in the early hours of Saturday morning.

We hang around for a while before boarding First's No 36 bus from the Interchange at 0551 which drops us off at 0617 Saturday morning in Walkden, (Manchester Road/Stocks Hotel)
