We then board the 0905 Stagecoach West service 49 to Devizes (Market Place), arriving there at 1000 on Thursday morning.

The "quiz day" is Friday, not Thursday.

We next board the 1010 Salisbury Reds service 2 to Quidhampton (White Horse Gate) that arrives there at 1114 on Friday morning.

I am sorry to have to disallow your posting, but the posting prior to that arrived at Woking at 1749, so any subsequent posting would have to be made after that time on the "quiz day" of Friday afternoon.

Rules.

Night services in the UK can be quite limited, so when the previous move arrives at its destination after 2300 you are allowed to wait until 0500 the next day if you wish.

*************************************************************************************

Noting what has been said in the previous posting, does the above extract from the rules of this quiz that concern night travel still apply?

I will refrain from making a new posting until clarification is received.

Paul, I moved the game there so that people can decide to wait until 5am or use one of three overnight buses, the 10, 100 and 200. As I live in the town, I have local knowledge.

Quite. If you want to use nightbuses, you can. If you don't, you can start again after five in the morning.

We are now spoilt for choice. Do we stay for the night in the area or continue on the night bus service available? We choose the latter by boarding the 00:28 Metrobus Fastway service 10 which conveys us to Gatwick Airport, North Terminal Bus Station, arriving at 00:53 on Saturday morning.

Just harking back to recent postings, it brings to mind the main reason why the website forum administrators brought in the rule relaxation that gave the opportunity to move to an 2300-0500 period that could have been a way of allowing the quiz to move forwards rather than shuttling back and forth on a couple of bus services in the night period. I did tentatively raise the matter as the 2300 Friday-deadline was reached in a posting but decided NOT to be seen as a "killjoy".
