Then get the 01:12 Great Western Railway service 1A40 to London Paddington, arriving at 05:00 Wednesday morning.
Rules
You shouldn't wait for more than two hours after the first available service (to any destination) has left, after allowing for the minimum interchange time.
[*]Night services in the UK can be quite limited, so when the previous move arrives at its destination after 2300 you are allowed to wait until 0500 the next day if you wish.
What are the options?
I'm not sure I understand the problem, can someone help me?
The rules clearly allow you to do either of these.
- What is the first service we can use after 2354 on the Wednesday night?
- What is the first service we can use after 0500 on the Thursday morning?
Ithink OxtedL is interpreting the rules as it was meant, if not written. No-one batted an eyelid at this for example (the most recent):The rule, as written, states you are allowed to wait until 0500. which suggests not using transport after 0500
We then board the 2312 National Express Coventry service 11 to Coventry (Pool Meadow Bus Station), arriving there at 2338 on Monday evening.
We use the new (is it still new?) overnight rule to get the 05:36 National Express Coventry service 9 to Coventry (Rail Station Interchange (Stop ER4)), arriving at 05:44 Tuesday morning.
No, I think the rule allows you to wait (if you wish to, up until 0500) then make the next available move after this time. The rule, as written, states you are allowed to wait until 0500. which suggests not using transport after 0500
