Having arrived back in England, we realise we still have a couple of Scottish £5 notes to spend, so we reverse direction North of the Border.

We cross the road to the bus stop near Morrisons and board the 0722 Stagecoach in Cumbria service 79 to Annan, Butts St, arriving 0803 Thursday morning.

This is a fairly isolated area, so we have no option other than to board the 1029 McCalls Coaches service 385 to Dumfries (Lochar Moss/Catherinefield Road), arriving there at 1036 on Thursday morning.
