Taking advantage of a move that I have been beaten to on several previous occasions, we leave the station and take the seven minute walk to Waterloo Road tram stop and board the 2142 Blackpool Tramway service to Heathfield Road, arriving there at 2222 on Sunday.

We next take the 2227 Blackpool Transport Tram serivce to Bispham, arriving there at 2246 on Sunday.

I know, for once! Makes a change as I'm usually beaten before I have a chance to make a move, as per just now when I went to make a journey on the 2336 11A service towards Fairhaven

Time for an overnight break during which we take the seven minute (0.3 mile) walk to Squires Gate station for the 05.34 Northern service 2S50 to Preston arriving at 06.08 on Monday.

Leaving the station, we take the eight minute/0.4 mile walk to Corporation Street and board the 0623 Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire service 61 to Peel Hill (Preston New Road/Staining Wood Farm), arriving there at 0707 on Monday.

Reluctant to end up back in Blackpool yet again (and we were in Preston recently too) so we cross over and take the 0713 Stagecoach service 61 to Lea, Pig & Whistle arriving at 0740 on Monday morning.

Unfortunately from here it's a choice of heading towards Blackpool or Preston. Choosing the latter as it offers a better choice of destinations we next take the 08.03 Preston Bus service 31 to Preston Bus Station arriving at 08.31 on Monday.
