Not that it remotely matters, but that service isn't planned to terminate at Borough Green & Wrotham normally. It usually goes to Victoria, but the timetable this week allows for engineering works. We, however, do not account for these works and base it on the normal working timetable.

Anyway, we then board 2A54, the 1726 Southeastern service to Bromley South, arriving there at 1803 on Sunday evening.

We run for the Thameslink 319 sat on Platform 1, but we see it pull away just as we make it down the stairs. We decide to wait for the next Thameslink service - a 387 this time - and ride it to City Thameslink. After setting off at 1830, we arrive at 1908 Sunday evening

Seeing how Heathrow cannot allow planes to land/takeoff after 11PM, we are forced to leave the airport. So, we head into Terminal 5 and board the 2303 Heathrow Express service to London Paddington, arriving 2324 Sunday night.

This is the correct post from which we should continue from.

We then board the 0020 Arriva London service 410 to Crystal Palace (Parade), arriving there at 0057 in the early hours of Monday morning.

We have a gap of two and a half hours here. Are there not any other night buses from Hammersmith between 0305 and 0534?

Probably, but it's not too unreasonable to have a rest, so I'm going to continue from...

We leave the station and board the Metroline 384 bus towards Quinta drive at 06:35. We alight at High Barnet Station at 07:01 on Monday morning.

Fair enough :)

Transferring from bus services to the tube station is fairly complex, and involves a relatively long walk crossing some busy roads. We allow enough time to do this, and so we board the 0718 Northern Line service to Balham, arriving there at 0816 on Monday morning.

I took the 384 from Cockfosters to High Barnet a few weeks back, have you been reading my trip reports? :D :D

We walk down Lower Barn Road and hop onto the Arriva London number 412 service, arriving at 13:22. It takes us as far as South Croydon (Swan & Sugar Loaf), where we are disappointed to see the eponymous pub has closed for business. We arrive there at 13:41 on Monday afternoon.

South Croydon station is only 0.4 miles away, and is a nine minute walk away. We make the journey, where we board 2M41, the 1407 Southern service to Milton Keynes Central, arriving there at 1601 on Monday afternoon.
