After sleeping at the local hotel, we return to the station bright-eyed and bushy-tailed to catch the 0655 Southeastern Javelin service to Stratford International. We arrive at 0729 on Monday morning.

No - the first Javelin is at 0520 and is the only legitimate one if you wish to use the Javelin.

We make our way to the Overground platforms and take the 0620 London Overground service to Clapham Junction, arriving at 0723 Monday morning

Deciding to head south, we next board the 0753 SN service to Collington that arrives at 0940 on Monday morning.

We decide to go to Hastings, but favouring the bus for the remainder of the journey we head onto Cooden Drive and, at 10:02, the number 99 bus operated by Stagecoach in Hastings arrives. We board, and arrive at Hastings, Cambridge Road at 10:44 on this fine Monday morning.

We return to the rail after the short walk to the station and take the 1136 Southern service to Winchelsea, arriving at 1150 Monday morning

The station here is similar to that of Upholland, being a long distance away from the settlement it purports to serve, so we decide to travel to a settlement with a brewery and a number of good antique shops and we board the 1159 Southern service to Lewes that arrives there at 1307 on Monday afternoon.

Changing modes of transport, we walk to the Brighton University stop and board the 1439 Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company service 25 to Brighton, Waitrose, arriving at 1458 on Monday afternoon.

We then leave the train station and board Brighton and Hove's No. 12 bus at 1416. We alight at Terminus Road, arriving at 1446 on Monday afternoon.

Terminus Road where? And we are (or were) at Mouslecoombe, which the 12 doesn't serve anyway

I think he means Eastbourne, but we had already gone onto Moulsecoomb, and I've given us a move into the Brighton area.

On that assumption we take the next X26 bus from New Malden at 2218 and travel to Heathrow Airport CBS, arriving at 2300 Monday evening
