Unfortunately that leaves us stranded overnight until the 09.10WO Moray Council service 364 to Grantown on Spey, The Square arriving at 09.35 on Wednesday.

We take the 4 minute walk to Inverness train station where we board the 14:00 Scotrail service 2H57 to Wick, arriving at 18:22 on Wednesday Evening

We really are stuck here with no further trains anywhere and the only bus being the Stagecoach Highlands service 276 from the nearby Caithness General Hospital at 22.39 to Dounreay, Bus Stance arriving at 23.45 on Wednesday.

We stop off for the night and return in the morning for the 0744 Stagecoach Highlands service 282 to Thurso (Bank of Scotland), arriving there at 0802 on Thursday morning.

Time to head south again so we take the eight minute walk to the railway station and take the 08.34 ScotRail service to Inverness arriving at 12.27 on Thursday.

We next board the 13:35 Scotrail service 2H85 to Kyle of Localsh, arriving at 16:16 on Thursday Afternoon.

We take the short walk to the Harbour Slipway and take the 16.43 Scottish Citylink service 916 to Glasgow alighting at Fort William Bus Station at 18.42 on Thursday.

We walk a minute to the station where we board the 19:50 Caledonian Slepper service 1B01 to London Euston, alighting at Corrour at 20:51 on Thursday Evening.

We have no choice here but to take the only other train of the day the 21.20 ScotRail service to Mallaig arriving at 23.39 on Thursday.
