King's Cross doesn't particularly have a great deal of options at this night and we don't particularly wish to just parade around every orifice of London all night, so we take the nine minute/0.4 mile walk to Euston where we board the 2324 Avanti West Coast service 9G70 to Birmingham International, arriving there at 0112 in the early hours of Monday morning.
