Departs Euston 1554 on 23rd June, 87002 Royal Sovereign leading with a '67' behind it in the consist. Goes via Trent Valley, '87' comes off at Crewe, train then goes to Bangor, drops off climbers and stables at Holyhead.

See page 14 of the latest Railway Herald. ;)

Have heard that this should indeed be worked by 86101 + 67013 for the initial leg - does anyone have more detailed times for the Euston - Crewe run, please?

Many Thanks,

Cheers, Geoff

No GB 66 for the move into Euston, so 86 or 87 will do this instead. Which now means it's down to the drivers shunting at WN which loco ends up on which end.....

87002 will lead the stock into Euston with 86101 taking the train north.

Sorry, I only have the times for the AC moves. 86101 will head north from Crewe to Mossend departing at 19:20. It will stable at Mossend under the return on Saturday.

Well, the "official" reason at the moment says "Unit not allocated" which sounds like somebody is just guessing - anyway it has just left Euston 27 minutes late though not sure how it is going to get on now it's lost it's path.

Ah good, sounds like it comes under the farce category. Driver forgot sausage roll or something similar....

Timings were quite slack, so if there's any gap they'll should be an opportunity to make some time up. Wrong time of day for that of course.

Down Fast - hammer down, should make up time no problem!

Down slow - behind all the units and it will be about 1730!

It went via Weedon and is now only about 15 mins late. Should be around Nuneaton now.

Just another wonder, when the times at Crewe departs at 1910? is that for the 86 leaving or 67013 departing? if it the Railtour i'm guessing 20 Minutes to Chester and 30 Minutes to Rhyl which means it would be 20 Minutes behind the ATW WAG Service!!
