I'm on it from Kings Cross to Edinburgh and back, coach A as well, so I hope I will get some Deltic thrash in one direction. :)

I'm on it Preston to Preston. 55022 looks rather nice in its 1981 railtour livery complete with silver fuel tanks.

Gonna hopefully see it at Stafford on the friday, then Trent Valley on the sunday, with DOG in between. A bit of sauce and this would be the best sandwich ever!

Doing this on Saturday. Don't particularly follow the Deltic, but need most of the East Coast route, and figure it's better to do it in one go on decent stock, plus 800 miles return isn't a bad day's work, and also at a fairly leisurely time off too, and with time to visit the Halfway House in Edinburgh!

We all know that the 55022 is a superb piece of kit Kane, but York-Newcastle in 31 minutes? Now that is going to be a hellfire ride ;)

And I'm in coach J... The last time behind RSG was sept 2006, when it put the preverbal leg out of bed. Better luck this time...

Given that we don't need 2 threads on this tour running concurrently I have merged the thread started yesterday into the older one.
