There's talk about the 1843 London Euston to Crewe, but that does not seem to exist! The nearest one would be the 1840 from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly via Crewe.

Incidentally, does anyone know the times of the pretendolino this week? (to save me digging in this long thread).

Half-thinking of catching it between Monday-Thursday this week (as after this week it reverts to Fridays only on the 1843 London Euston to Crewe. Is there anybody confirm for me that it will be out this Monday to Thursday? Anybody know if it might not be out for any reason?

Just thought - would the pretendolino's non-ability to tilt cause alterations to it timings as it would have to observe lower speed limits? Because the timetable seems to be unchanged whether or not the pretendolino is used.

It will just gradually lose time.

It does have a 12 minute stop at New Street.

Thats because it is the joining of a London - Birmingham and a Birmingham - (normally Scotland) train.

This is a weekday service and is Euston to Crewe via Birmingham/Wolverhampton (effectively an extension of a Euston-Wolves service that also calls at Stafford and Crewe)

Actually it is a Euston - Birmingham that runs in the path of a Brum - Scotland north of New St.

Should be, as Tottenham Flyer says, it's working it's usual diagram today. Saw it on the 08:50 to Euston earlier on.

90044 not working passenger today but booked ECS up to Crewe this evening, so I would guess a loco swap is likely. Both 90045 & 90049 at Crewe CS, so one of those would be my guess.
