There is a daily FGW service that stops at Winnersh for the benefit of the nearby Forest School. I've been on it from Reading to Winnersh, but not Winnersh to Wokingham, Wokingham to Winnersh or Winnersh to Reading.

That can't be a long-wait bonus though surely, as Wokingham to Winnersh is served regularly by SWT? Or have I got the rules all wrong?

Either way, Clapham Junction's gone so there seems little point trying to trap us in Wandsworth; therefore we shall proceed to Winnersh.

I'm sure others have done it. But, it doesn't really matter. Just a couple down the drain; not exact 1,000!

Winnersh Triangle

I'd set this up for Reading to be Post #5,000! Not the Triangle! Oh well, never mind

Quick extra: So if I had gone straight to Reading from Winnersh, which would also have made Reading Post #5,000 as planned, it would count?

Yes, as SWT services all stop at all stations. Would only have been compensating for 2 points dropped by omitting those stations though!

Let us proceed from Reading to Newbury (1704 FGW service).
