The problem is that I was noting the NRE instructions as due to mining subsidence in that area, buses now replace all train services between Doncaster and Goole/Scunthorpe for about 8 weeks/until further notice. There is a pictorial link in their website notice to the damage to the trackwork which looks to be quite substantial.

There is now a thread about this matter on the UK Railway Discussion Forum that had no less than 67 postings upon it last time that I looked.
