It was something that I had already been made aware of and when this quiz traversed this particular long stretch of line and noting the amount of time envisaged to carry out the required reinstatements, I felt it to be worthy of note.

Another matter to be borne in mind is that a reopened railway station at Conon Bridge, situated between Dingwall and Muir of Ord, took place on 8th February, should contestants with maps wish to note this.

Can I propose something please:

Since the line between Doncaster and Hull via Goole is going to be out of action for at least a few months, and the fact that we know this, could we take this into consideration for this game? I know the rules do state if its a temporary block (say a week or so) then we carry on a normal service, but feel this issue has to be taken into consideration

This situation has already come to attention. I have sought advice from Adtrainz (the quiz creator and he who has the final decision on the rules), but until then I think we should follow the GBTT.
