OK Folks. Based on the clues already given, it has to be one of the following six stations:This one seems to have gone quiet for a few days. I'm afraid I've already given the required five clues. All I can now say is that there are not many lines which cross the border between Lancashire and Yorkshire - only three that I can think of, if you don't count the parts of Greater Manchester which used to be in Lancashire - so that whittles it down to one of six stations either side of the county boundary.
Yes....well done! The adjacent factory is HCB-Angus, who make fire engines, hoses, sprinklers systems, extinguishers and all manner of other anti-incendiary products. Parallel with the railway on the Up side at the Wennington end is the 200 metre-long hose testing tunnel, in which newly-manufactured fire hoses are rolled out and filled from one end with high-pressure superheated steam in order to detect the smallest of leaks.Bentham?
