Just out of interest, does Reading count? It is served by AC only (Class 387) and DC only (Class 450/458) trains not strictly duel voltage. I think this is the only example, is it, where there are AC and DC in the same station but not being a changeover point?

Liverpool South Parkway and Liverpool Lime St are both served by AC-only & DC-only units. There were more examples around London in the past (Euston/Harrow & W/Watford Jn in the days of Class 501s, and Stratford with 2-EPBs after diversion of the NLL to North Woolwich in the 1980s). Not sure about today?


Clue 4: As well as (dual-voltage) National Rail trains, this station is also served by London Underground (not dual voltage trains of course!)

Liverpool Lime Street has DC only Merseyrail and AC only 319s/350s. Same for Liverpool South Parkway
