Clue 5 : all trains in one direction from this station terminate at the next station - which has a similar name

Additional Clue : none of the guesses so far have been within 100 miles of the correct answer !

Just out of interest, does Reading count? It is served by AC only (Class 387) and DC only (Class 450/458) trains not strictly duel voltage. I think this is the only example, is it, where there are AC and DC in the same station but not being a changeover point?
