5: The terminating trains are just the three; one from Aberdeen, one from Inverness, and one from Inverurie. And only on Mondays to Fridays. All other trains calling at this station don't terminate here.

Blimey. I've never got one of these right before.

I'll have a go but I've not done one of these before so here goes.

1: This station is south of Birmingham

Clue 2: This station is served by classes 143, 150, 153 and I think that's probably (hopefully) all.

Errr.... It is Stonehaven as guessed by RJ21.

If you read what I said, I said you were correct in assuming you were wrong. I hope RJ doesn't mind you started a new round here...

Oh how embarrassing. :oops::oops:. My cheeks are flushed with shame, sorry RJ21. In my excitement of believing I actually got one right I overwhelmed my brain with froth.

I'll carry on but I feel all wrong.

Not Exmouth then

Clue 3: This station has a signal box which is tidy and smart but disused (that ought to do it).

Clue 4: This station has two platforms and a level crossing, platform 2 being accessed via the level crossing.

One of the guesses so far has been pretty close I must say.

Following the OS map from my previous guess northwards I arrive at Topsham which is marked as having a level crossing.

I think I'll use my destination (or journey midpoint as I'm going home afterwards) for tomorrow for the next round.

Clue 1: The station is an interchange with none NR services.

I would normally only say it is an actual public transport service, excluding buses, we have two valid, if incorrect, answers so time for;

Clue 2:All lines are electrified, using AC & DC systems. (clarification on that, all lines are electrified, though not all are to the same system)
