I even thought of OLF as a possible answer (as early as Clue 2) - but didn't think you would try that, and by the time it became obvious it was I wasn't around! Not amused. It didn't help that I thought about the SWT service that calls there - but it starts at Salisbury...

I believe that is a very unfortunate 6 point penalty. I don't think there are any through ferries from a BR served station to Belfast these days, else I would have toyed with shacks on the Stranraer branch (change at Glasgow C for London and Edinburgh).

For this clue, I believe that Ivo should adjudicate as to who receives penalties for failing to satisfy it or even if it turns out to be a dud clue.

The rules clearly state that NI stations are not permitted. However, there is nothing against using NI stations as clues. Therefore, and allowing for the clear difference between GB and UK, I have to agree that it is a dud clue - even if said declaration is quite harsh. Having said that though, it also indicates that there are three different capitals, not four.

All-in-all, this is the second time I have had to adjudicate in only a few days in relation to a marginal turn of Robinson's (the other being Chathill).

It clearly states "UK". But you count only three, which does not match "UK". There is something not right there, which means that I think I have to agree that there is a dud clue in there. Sorry...
