Define "not updated properly". Was it just being slow/useless or did you have a connection problem or something like that?

The clue has been there for over 30 minutes...

I didn't know it does that (mine doesn't). But, that's clearly not something you can do much about, so it's OK.

There are at least 4 UK capital cities - Belfast, Edinburgh, London and Cardiff. Do you mean GB capitals, has a direct service to 2 capitals or 3 are 1 change away?

Assuming the former, I'm going to Horsforth and hoping the Newcastle-Cardiff still runs.

Assuming the Lincoln-St. Pancras is your limited service to a capital, then it is served by 222s which are post-privatisation.

I believe that is a very unfortunate 6 point penalty. I don't think there are any through ferries from a BR served station to Belfast these days, else I would have toyed with shacks on the Stranraer branch (change at Glasgow C for London and Edinburgh).

For this clue, I believe that Ivo should adjudicate as to who receives penalties for failing to satisfy it or even if it turns out to be a dud clue.

Surprisingly, Bath Spa is linked to all 3 GB capitals. (There is a daily XC service to Glasgow Central via Edinburgh in addition to the services to Cardiff and London.)

Bath is also served by a morning shop, so falls fouls of clue 3. You still only lose 1 point though.

I think I picked the wrong Bath station then - those and the Southend stations are the only ones likely to fit clue 5, and all Southend stations are electrified

Fair does. I didn't consider the possibility of a through Cardiff, though thinking on it it is far more likely. The Cardiff-Westbury with Fragonset 31s used to call if I remember rightly.
