Yepp, Norfolk is completely devoid of motorways, although the A11 dual-carriageway is in Norfolk for a large portion of it's length.
It was the Motorway clue which narrowed it down for me... think it might be a fact gleaned from QI.

Being as I'm new to this sub-forum (and not really sure how it works yet), I'll say open floor for someone more experienced to have a go. :D

3) This station has fewer TOCs calling here than it has Platforms. One of these numbers is prime, the other is not

Clue 1: This station is in England and north of the Thames.

Clue 4: The TOC which manages this station is not the one which runs the most frequent service in the standard Monday-Friday off-peak.

Clue 5: This station is situated between 2 stations both managed by the same TOC, which is different to the one which manages this station.

Stalybridge. The existing bay has been taken out of use and I believe the new bay has not yet been commissioned.
