TfW Class 67+Mk4 sets: trip planning/experiences, diagram updates etc

Okay, by the looks of it every set isn't allocated tomorrow due to the expected closure of the Marches, I'm assuming if possible they'll jump back in if the Marches do reopen but I don't see any allocated.

None made it out today minus HD01 briefly

None are planned out today even if/when it reopens.
The opportunity is being taken to carry out several loco exams whilst they're stood down.

67010 had its tyre turn so is returning to TfW, 67025 is now attached to HD02 whilst it has its heavy exam, currently hoped that once thats completed towards the end of next week, 67025+HD02 will have a shakedown run to enable 025 to go back into full service.

67010 arrived at Crewe depot today. 67025 is connected to HD02 and at least another 2x sets at Crewe depot today. Felt like half the fleet were in town today.

Current plan for 67016 is tomorrow on 1V33, 1W19, 1V50 Thursday on 1W11 1V37 1W96 then Friday on 1V91 1W57 1V46 1W65, Saturday its then likely to be on one of the Crewe starts but not sure which yet.

That's the plan but obviously subject to swaps etc over the days.

Bit of a swap round planned for tonight, 67017 will come off HD07 being replaced by 67025, this set will then go out on a test run tomorrow for the loco rather than wait for HD02s exam to be complete as it allows 025 back onto full service quicker.
67010 will then take the place of 025 on HD02.

HD01 is planned to be available tomorrow so tonights 17:14 Holyhead is now expected to be a unit To avoid having 2 sets at Holyhead, 67016+HD03 are planned to work the 18:55 Cardiff to Manchester instead.

Tomorrow 67014+HD01 will work 1V91 then 1W19 and 1V50 while 67016+HD03 are now down to do 1V33 then swap onto 1W57 and the remainder of that diagram.

Now that 67025s test run is complete, 67017 is planned to return to HD07.

The above post is correct. 67029 is still at Crewe ETD with HD05, the rake is having wheel repairs done after tree strikes and the loco tyre turning. Believe once that's done the set now requires a minor exam so likely be middle of next week at the earliest before the set heads back to TfW.

The vast majority of work is planned to be covered this weekend, the only exception being the 05:30 Swansea-Manchester which is planned a unit To Crewe then swap for 67017+HD07 for 09:30 Crewe-Manchester. 67014+HD01 is planned to cover the diagram starting 04:35 Cardiff to Manchester, 67016+HD03 starting 04:54 Crewe to Cardiff and 67013 starting 06:27 Manchester to Cardiff.

Sunday should be HD01 on the Cardiff diagram and HD04 on the Crewe.

Next week should as it stands have 5 sets available, HD01/03/04/06/07 with none due exams while HD02 (+67010) is still on heavy exam at ATC Crewe and HD05 (+67029) tyre turning/wheelset replacement at Crewe ETD, potentially both of those should be back as the week progresses.

Spare 67008 is returning to DB at Crewe from Canton leaving Royal 67006 at Canton as the designated recovery loco.
