Correct. Booked out each day Monday to Friday next week. AFAIK the set is now ready, some testing has taken place succesfully at Worksop. The DVT and at least one coach have been re-vinyled and its all ready to go. Its just awaiting confirmation of paths now.

Is the DVT in the old TfW white that was originally worn by the 3 DVTs or has it taken up 82229's lifeboat livery?

Its how the original ones were before the vinyls were added with the white body side and the red at the cab end.

Related question, what have they done with the coach?

HD02 was one of the sets still in ECML faded mess? Have they re-vinyled it to a similar state?

Yes its being put back in the old Virgin red and white just to make it match the rest. Its one of the 'new' coaches which has had graffiti removal damage to the original vinyls

Ill be honest im not totally sure now, Plans have changed so many times! To enable it out on test its had at least some exam work done at Worksop but what exactly or what it needs back at ATC I've lost track of!

Is it likely tfw will attempt to source a new spare DVT from LNER on the introduction of their class 897, or possibly sooner? Or will it likely he if another incident happens a set will be withdrawn?
