Metroline have finally updated the destination displays on the Streetdecks to remove the rather fast scrolling “super-x” via points in favour of paged ones. Hopefully the rest (that use Super-X) follow suit.

Apparently it was an issue with the McKenna controllers and all were updated over the weekend.

Considering MMC200 37632 is still at Oldham Depot does anybody know what went to Queens Road to replace it and why?

I thought all MMC200s were needed for service at Queens Road obviously not.

Technically only two are needed as they were originally for the 480. Seems odd to swap an E200 MMC for a Solo when they are both very similar capacity.

From what I saw once (unless its changed recently) some of the running boards for 20/21/22/520 actually state any single deck hence why the routes can get the older vehicles allocated to them.

Over at Oldham Depot continued vehicle shortages/problems with electrics has seen more and more diesel deckers and E300s appearing on 59, 83 & 84s, 27937 was out on 84s yesterday afternoon and 13190 was out on 59s before going out in the evening on 17s from 18:09 finishing at Middleton at 21:51.

Aren't the O530's primarily allocated onto the routes 20/21/22/520? would there be vehicles that can cover for the shortfall of citaros at bolton?
They were but not now they have left!

Bolton will use B7s and E200s on those routes, plus any Citaros that escape the cull for now.

I’ve noticed only 4027 is currently in service out of the 61 plate E200s are these due to be withdrawn as well?
Currently withdrawn are:

3271/2 6225/6/7/8/9 4024/6/8/9 3110/1/2/3/4

Whilst 4020/1 are now at Bolton and are due AFAIK six from Wigan in exchange for MMC200s.

The first of the new Vantage Electroliners have been completed in Ireland and will head over in the next couple of weeks. I think it was mentioned upthread that these will start another number series, starting at 2301 onwards.

A BZL was spotted in Ashton but not a Metroline BZL it was a Middleton BZL working a 409 service so I'm guessing Oldham was short on buses tonight

Not sure if its been reported on here but all of Wigan Depots E400s have now been withdrawn and placed into storage with more Streetdecks replacing them.

Also does anybody know whether Metroline ADL E400H TEH170 is withdrawn or in storage? It doesn't seem to have been in service recently and was last in service 17 March.

Where have these additional Streetdecks come from?

Those E400s were feeling quite tired to be fair, and were probably due for replacement

There’s a number of Enviro 400 Hybrids that have been out of use for a number of months with a couple already scrapped. No doubt being harvested for spares to keep the others going

The comments said for Stockport but since the depot isnt ready I would presume Oldham since it is the Only Stagecoach depot in GM to be electrified. Might be the end of the Geminis there until more permanent buses for Oldham come there (if these Electroliners move to Stockport when ready)
