At which point they will be moved on to other depots or sold on or loaned possibly to other franchise authorities. They are very very very unlikely to be scrapped.
Any that are not tracking or missing from the list are probably having major work at Thomas Hardies.

Quite, as already mentioned, the Scanias were sold (via Ensign IIRC) so anything else that isn't wanted will likely follow the same path. Remember, there will be a decent amount of upheaval in the coming months with new electrics coming on stream, the 65/66 plate Vantage buses will need new homes one way or another for instance. Perhaps we need to just wait and watch what happens rather than constantly trying to be ahead of everyone (including TfGM and the operators sometimes!!)

100% agree. It’s also worth remembering that as far as I’m aware, nothing has yet been scrapped by TFGM and while they think a vehicle has a good resale value they will always push to move them on rather than scrap.

Does anybody know whether there's any plans on refurbishing 10443-10451 batch of MMC400s to Bee Network standard? If so I do hope that they don't lose the DP seats that they've got at the moment.

What vehicles (if any) are out of service at the moment being refurbished?

Some Stockport buses are being refurbed at the minute not sure if it's that batch or just the 16/17 plates, 10599 is on loan to cover

I don't think 65 plate MMCs or earlier ones are being painted into Bee Network livery

Nope, they’ve had all the work they’re getting done to them.

nope, those, the 64 and the 16 plates at Stockport are not being refurbished or repainted.

From what I remember, there was a schedule between TFGM and Stagecoach of the entire fleet being painted and internally converted. As this batch were painted before entering the network they are way down the schedule so once it comes to them being sent for internal conversions they will have already been replaced by newer stock.

They had the internal conversion work done, grabpoles were repainted, new flooring in the 20 plates and the second wheelchair space added along with yellow “priority seating” stitching added to the seats. That’s all they’re getting

Arh so the only thing missing is the Bee/metrolink fabric seats. No biggy really.

They have the same type of seats as the BYD EVs that were brought in tranche 1/2 so they could use those seats

I notice the buses now have signs inside “Yellow there! I’m bus 12345”, presumably so you can report damage in the same way Northern trains have signs with their carriage number.

I wonder if they will try to ensure there isn’t fleet number duplication between the operators. Metroline and GNW will be ok, but Stagecoach, First and Diamond all use five digit numbers.

As long as people are asked for the route number as well as the fleet number when reporting a problem it won't be an issue

At the moment there isn't any duplication, but Stagecoach will use 6, 7 and 8xxxx fleet numbers for electric fleet, First would use 4, 5 and 6xxxx, and diamond would just use existing 2 and 3xxxx

Been on for a couple of months now, infact a colleague and friend of mine was pulled over by several police vehicles on Chapel street leaving the city centre after a passenger upstairs used the QR code to report some anti social behaviour. The police stopped the bus and removed the passenger pretty swiftly.

Yes, around 15 BYD E400s off due a warrenty fault on a particular item that needs replacing.

Extremely lucky the kids are off school this week, although surly this is a TFGM issue not an operator issue as the BYD’s belong to TFGM.

Lucky indeed and yes, hence the use of non Bee Network stock without any issue!

There were more than 15 gathered in the yard when I left but they are the urgent/broken ones, the others will be modified as they go along.
