Apart from Leeds Whitehall and Oldham Mumps (Metrolink), have any other temporary stations been built on the network since 1900?
Temp platforms at Reading.
A bridge was washed out on the Shrewsbury - Machynlleth line (early 1980s?) and one - possibly two - temporary stations were installed either side.
Cannot remember the details.
Two temporary stations either side of the bridge over the Severn just south of Welshpool station, with a walkway for the passengers between them. They were put in when the bridge was found to be damaged, I think by flooding, and trains were banned over it.
Culross had a temporary station in 1992 for an open day at nearby Longannet Power Station.
