Back to the original subject... if you believe that Islamification's a threat to us... well the rolling Americanization (sic) is surely worse. Not only does that pose more of a threat to the British way of life, it's actually happened over the past few decades and no-one's noticed it. Music, television and food is increasingly going to the American way, and we don't complain about that. Even politics; Blair's foreign policy, if you remember, was to nod along with whatever Bush said.

Don't really agree with you there i think we and the US are similar anyway and remember lots of UK stuff gets big in the US (our music, TV show and even our culture) you make it sound like folk in the UK go around speaking like Americans but clearly we don't.
any way its better we Westernisation succeeds rather that Islamification just think would you rather live in a Christan liberal democracy or or a feudal oppressive state!!!
But anyway i don't think we really face Islamification and the true threat is from extremist terrorist nutter not the average Muslim who is an everyday person and as much against terrorism as other people in the UK!!!

So, a billionaire should be paying the same tax as someone on the minimum wage?

Yes low tax through out is whats needed if we steal tax of the rich we will only drive them to other country and lose possible business investment needed to keep us a competitive nation!!!

plus high taxes is communism!!!

I'm just saying; the vast majority of change over the past few years has been influenced by America. Fast food is everywhere, Subway and MacDonalds being the big American brand names that are on every street corner. The most successful TV shows in the UK seem to have been bought by America. Most movies in the cinema are from Hollywood. And so on and so forth.

Compare this to the rising tide of Islamification which, as far as I can see, consists of a prominent mosque on the South Bank of the Clyde and a few more people wearing head scarfs. And the BNP trying to scare us.

This is very true. The Daily Wail don't kick up about it, but it's a far greater risk to our society.
