I don't particularly like this piecemeal approach of part-done interior / old livery.

I think they are firmer - ironing board firm so to speak! I'm comparing to the miscellaneous base cushions SWT seemed to replace in the last twelve months of the franchise.

As to the piecemeal facelifting I wonder if this is a way to save time once the 450s start being refurbished plus to deliver improvements to passengers. Some 450 interiors are very tired after fourteen years of hard use.

Gah! Where are you going to put your foot now! If you don't put it up you end up all twisted and encroaching into the middle seat space even more. Couldn't these have gone under the seats? Will there now be power cables trailing across your legs when the person on the end sets up shop?

I’m surprised they’re apparently fitting a pair of single sockets in separate housings, rather than one double. On the face of it you’d expect doubles to halve the labour costs...

On most jobs these days labour costs tend to be the expensive bit, as even if the materials cost a lot by the time they are on site a lot of that cost is to do with the labour of getting it there the raw material and construction/fabrication costs are fairly low.
