We travelled on the 18.35 service from Waterloo to Poole on Friday (17 July). It was exactly 15 minutes late (arrived at 20.49 instead of 20.34). We were travelling as a three and all three tickets were advance singles purchased on the SWR app (two tickets with a Two Together Railcard). I have an SWR Delay Repay account and can see I am opted in to Automated Delay Repay. Apparently you're meant to receive an email within 48 hours of the journey containing a link to generate a Delay Repay claim, although I still haven't received anything and I can see my account says that I don't currently have any unsubmitted Automated Delay Repay Notifications.
Is there any reason why ADR shouldn't work in the above circumstances? Does it not work if you're travelling as a group, for example? Am I better off just submitting a manual Delay Repay claim now?
Similarly, we travelled on the 17.45 service from Weymouth to Clapham Junction yesterday, which was 30 minutes late. Again, these were three advance single tickets purchased on the SWR app. No notification yet but it's not been 48 hours.
